Once again, 2023 has been a year of growth for Aciturri Engineering's Engineering & Technology team, whose workforce has increased by 37% compared to the end of 2022, reaching 137 in-house staff, and has completed a volume of work equivalent to 170 FTE (53% higher than 2022) of which 42 have been dedicated to Innovation (25% of total activity).

The Engineering & Technology activity continued to be driven in 2023 mainly by projects already underway for the aeronautics industry (Falcon 10X or Deutsche Aircraft), the new air mobility (Lilium) and space projects (micro-launcher faring or cryogenic fuel storage tanks), together with new R&D projects, mainly within the scope of the European Clean Aviation program.

Although the increased intensity of engineering activity in 2023 was due to higher dedication to existing projects due to their development phase, the new contracts signed during the year and the market outlook for new sustainable mobility solutions seem to consolidate a forecast of growth in the demand for engineering in the coming years.

2023 has once again been a growing year for Aciturri Engineering's Engineering & Technology team, which has increased its workforce by 37% compared to the end of 2022.

On the other hand, during the second half of 2023, the Aciturri Engineering and Alestis engineering teams were operationally integrated. This move carried out through a merger of the teams of both parties on a functional basis, has resulted in a new structure of approximately 240 people located mainly in Tres Cantos and Seville and with unique work centers in Getafe, Boecillo, Miranda de Ebro and Berantevilla.

This integration entails a complete review of procedures, which has been initiated this year, aiming to incorporate the best practices that both teams have developed and implemented so far.
