Systems Management

Systems Management

The systems team laid the groundwork in 2023 to tackle the projects necessary to develop a single, centralized and efficient information management system over the next two years.

The year began with the integration of the IT systems of Alestis Aerospace and its Brazilian subsidiary and those of Aciturri. This process aims to unify work processes supported by a single corporate platform to provide transversal and standardized support for the company's needs.

In this context, the first step has been integrating into a single team of professionals in the Systems area and defining single processes to serve the entire organization.

The IT area professionals have been integrated into a single team that has defined unique processes to provide service to the entire organization.

Simultaneously, this team has been developing actions aimed at integrating into a single platform in different areas:

Infrastructure and cybersecurity

This area has continued to work on the ISO 27001 certification plan, providing Aciturri's stakeholders with confidence in the company's level of cybersecurity. Around this project, training and cybersecurity awareness pills were launched in 2023 and will continue in the following years.

Another important aspect in this area has been the infrastructure model definition and the detailed implementation plan, which are necessary to support the integration projects. The Alestis and Aciturri identity database (Active Directory) has been integrated into this framework.

Engineering & Product

Major milestones within this function have been selecting and acquiring a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool as a collaborative platform to exploit data related to the product and its lifecycle efficiently.

Also, applications such as the license management system related to engineering and 3D models started to be standardized.

Management Systems

This group supports and evolves legacy or enterprise software such as ERP, HR systems, financial planning, etc.

In 2023, the foundations were laid for the most significant projects to be executed in 2024 within the integration plan: ERP unification and integration of the entire ecosystem of the People area, establishing the details of all the systems and processes to be unified, the solutions to be implemented and closing the necessary negotiations to start the projects at the beginning of 2024.

Digitalization and Industry 4.0

It encompasses everything related to systems and applications closer to industry and manufacturing. The year 2023 saw the unification of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) system, the definition of the future MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and the start-up of pilot programs at the different plants to confirm the future model of applications supporting the process at the production plant level.

Significant progress has also been made in this area by eliminating manual traceability records and focusing the process on a paperless system that enables data use without manual processing.

Data Center

It's an area within the Systems department that generates the corporate reporting and governance models.

Throughout 2023, different corporate functions have been supported to unify data from other systems to achieve a corporate vision. Likewise, the future reporting model for managing unified data has been defined, a project that will be developed in parallel with the Systems Integration Plan.
