In August 2022, a new ultrasonic inspection cell was installed at Alestis Seville, positioning Alestis at the forefront of robotics in an aeronautical production plant.

Its installation has led to a significant reduction of component inspection times, as well as a better recognition or detailed parts inspection with different and complex geometries. Alestis Aerospace's Digitalization team developed the software used to operate the machine, which allows the inspection programs developed by engineering to be launched automatically, expanding the company's know-how in this field.

With this investment, Alestis Sevilla increases its capabilities to internalize the ultrasonic inspection activities that were previously performed by subcontracted companies.

Subsequently, in December 2022, Alestis completed the project to install photovoltaic panels in the Tecnobahía industrial building. This installation allows the transformation of solar energy into electrical energy ready for industrial self-consumption, with which the company reinforces its commitment to the environment through the use of one of the most effective, profitable and long-lasting clean energies currently available.

As it is a renewable and clean energy, which does not emit CO2 or other greenhouse gases, Alestis manages to immediately reduce its carbon footprint and, therefore, its environmental impact.  With this commitment to renewable energy, Alestis estimates a 25% saving in energy costs by 2023.

Alestis completes the project for the installation of photovoltaic panels in the Tecnobahía facility.
