Throughout the year, communication support activities are organised for different corporate areas, with special attention to all areas related to manufacturing, people (health and safety, work-life balance, etc.) and the environment (waste segregation).

During 2022, Alestis advanced in the strengthening of existing external communication channels, promoting the content creation, segmented according to the targeted audience.

The main internal communication channels are:

  • Short News


    This is one of the main communication channels, with a distribution list of more than 1,000 people (corporate e-mails and personal e-mails of those employees who gave their permission). In 2022, a total of 84 news were sent out, covering aspects such as the implementation of digitalisation projects, the company's presence at trade fairs, the launch of the XperienciAL programme and the achievement of manufacturing milestones.

  • Management Communications


    In 2022, 13 management statements were sent out.

  • Displays


    Located in the resting areas and the facilities' access hall, this channel is used to broadcast corporate news in audiovisual format, in a brief and concise manner, aimed mainly towards the direct workforce. During 2022, 51 news items were screened and 3 permanent communication campaigns were promoted throughout the year, in relation to the specific projects of Xperiential, Kaizen and Environment, projects led by different areas.

  • Intranet


    It is an internal web platform that serves as a repository of all information of interest for employees, consisting of 6 main areas:

1. Corporate

Contains all the information related to the business, such as the company's annual objectives, mission, vision and corporate values, the Management Team's organisation chart, corporate slideshows and templates, visual elements that are part of the Alestis Aerospace brand, location of the facilities and the published policies. It also includes a specific section on the efr Model (on work-life balance), with access to the Management's commitment and the existing measures catalogue for the staff.

2. Human Resources

The user may consult their salary statements and latest receipts through the link to Meta4 platform, the organization structure through ePeople, with information on Flexible Compensation, or access to the Alestis Club site. In addition, it is possible to manage travel expenses, manage personal days and holidays, consult work calendars, the welcoming manual and internal job opportunities.

3. Ethics and Compliance

It contains access to the Code of Ethics, the different guides launched by the area, the area's policy and the Human Rights sub-policy. Through this page, employees can directly access the Complaints and Queries channel.

4. Communication

Staff can consult all published news items, management

5. Quality

It provides access to the area's policy, to a repository where you can find the information pills launched by its own department for the team and the details of all Alestis Aerospace certifications.

6. Applications

This page contains access to all the internal applications used by employees.

XperienciAL project

One of the most outstanding projects in 2022 was Project XperienciAL, the Employee Experience survey, in collaboration with an external consultancy. Internally, a two-phase communication campaign was developed:

1. Project launching

Through all channels.

2. Results reporting

Through a live event via Teams to the indirect workforce and presentations to the site management teams, in a presential format.

XperienciAL creates a new participative, confidential and anonymous space in which employees can express their feelings and, at the same time, the company can learn about the real experience of the staff, understand their needs, how they live and what they feel at key moments in relation to the company, identifying areas for improvement and defining actions to build more satisfactory relationships. The analysis is performed through the evaluation of key moments in the employee's life at the company: day to day, day to day with their manager, formal moments, vital accompaniment, professional assistance and changing processes. For each of these moments, questions are asked about facts and subjective perceptions that are experienced at each moment.

All the above enabled us to obtain objective data on the employee experience at Alestis, to analyse the specific expectations and needs of the direct and indirect workforce in the different facilities, and to establish action plans to improve people's experience in the organization.

Other initiatives implemented this year include the communication, since June, via email, to the entire workforce of new recruitments, as well as the arrival of new interns at each facility and via corporate displays. The aim is to improve the welcoming and integration process for new people joining the company.
