On the industrial side, the company has invested in new machining equipment to increase production capacity at the Ircio (Miranda de Ebro) work center and has approved an investment plan to safeguard the growth at Rochefort (France).
The company has also successfully passed the First Article Inspection (FAI) processes that validate the production of new components (casings for Business Jet engines in the case of the Ircio plant, CFM and Leap apertures as well as segments for industrial turbines at our Rochefort plant), all of which are part of the different programs for Safran, Rolls Royce, CFM International or Siemens.
Regarding composite materials technology, the Aeroengines team has completed the design of the new duct production lines for the LEAP 1A engine and has integrated the first equipment to produce these components at the Boecillo (Valladolid) work center.
The Orón (Miranda de Ebro) work center retains its Excellence Supplier status for ITP Aero and Safran Oil Systems customers, a recognition that endorses its excellent operational level.
The participation in industry trade meetings, such as Paris Air Show (France) and supplier conferences organized by companies like Rolls Royce have strengthened customer relations and led to new supply agreements.
In this regard, Aciturri has firmly established itself as a supplier of composite components by extending the contract for fan ducts for the LEAP 1A engine up to 100% of the market share and adding the manufacture of fan and compressor panels for the same engine, in all cases until 2030.
