All production plants take water from the municipal sanitation network.

Water consumption is limited to sanitation, except at the Ayuelas, Vitoria and Ircio plants, where water is used for process purposes. In addition, at plants with composite material manufacturing technologies, water is used for cooling autoclaves in the cooling towers. In the case of Vitoria, when liquid concentrate from the anodizing bath is produced for disposal, the authorized waste manager is responsible for its removal, and it is never disposed of as a discharge. The remaining water, after an internal treatment process, passes into the public water domain or into the sanitation network in accordance with the Discharge Authorization granted.

When the discharge is sanitation-related, it passes directly into the sanitation network and from there to the corresponding municipal collector.

During 2025, work was carried out on the definition of a new wastewater treatment system at the Vitoria plant, with the aim of implementing the change in 2026.

In 2025, a sanctioning procedure was carried out at the plants in Spain, specifically at the Vitoria plant, for exceeding the limits of discharge parameters, for a total of €3,000. Likewise, a sanction of €9,000 was received for the use of an unlegalized chemical products facility in Tres Cantos.
