Social action

Aciturri is aware of the impact its activities have on society, as well as the potential that each of its initiatives has to benefit the environment.

For this reason, it regularly collaborates with charitable, sports, health promotion, entrepreneurship, and youth training projects.

It continues to work with organizations such as the Hijas de la Caridad de Vera Association, Cáritas, and the Down Syndrome Association of Burgos.

In 2024, Aciturri renewed its agreement with the Centro de Acogida de las Hijas de la Caridad de San Vicente de Paul de Vera (Almería). Through this agreement, Aciturri provides financial support to reinforce the academic education of young people taken in by the center. This year's budget includes the necessary financial resources to cover the additional classes taken by students in the care of the Daughters of Charity.

Aciturri also maintains its membership in the Club de Empresas Estela, which brings together companies and organizations that provide financial and other support to the Down Syndrome Association of Burgos.

In 2024, Aciturri donated 494 kg of work clothes to Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo, an initiative that has contributed to improving the living conditions of people at risk and/or suffering from social exclusion, as well as caring for the environment. The clothes were sent to Africa for reuse and to Asia for recycling.

Aciturri's contribution to the recovery of those affected by the DANA in the Valencian Community completes the social action chapter. Initially, Aciturri made direct financial contributions to the Spanish Red Cross and Cáritas Valencia. These contributions were later supplemented by the proceeds of an internal campaign in which team members and Board of Directors members who wished to participate could donate. The company matched the amount raised, and the total was donated to Cáritas Valencia. These actions were complemented by the decision to cancel internal Christmas events and donate their budget to the same cause.
