Aciturri's efficient use of raw and auxiliary materials improves its environmental and economic performance.

Aciturri has continued to make progress in the initiatives implemented during 2023 to improve resource and material consumption efficiency:

  • Implementation of returnable package and container systems, both for transportation between plants and clients in the facilities in Spain.
  • Reuse of packages and containers in production plants, establishing a closed cycle of return of standard manufacturing order bags, parts caps, etc. also in Spain.
  • Implementation of reusable material vacuum bags in precompaction operations in Brazil.
  • The Plataine software is used to nest materials for cutting on the Lectra fabric cutting machine, increasing cutting efficiency by reducing material waste. Also, in Brazil.

29. Hastelloy and cabot are materials specifically used in the Rochefort facility. Therefore, there is no data prior to 2023. Casting consumption has come to be considered significant due to the growth of Aciturri Aeroengines, so there is no historical data available either.
30. Sheets with a thickness between 30 and 220mm. Calculation is based on 0.00457 m2/kg, according to the company's SAP data. Forgings, profiles, and tubes are excluded.
