The Quality area manages, among other matters, risk management according to procedure PSC61 at all Company locations since the end of 2024.

Quarterly meetings are held with each of the areas, escalating to the Executive Committee the three priority risks for each of them.

The most important milestones of the year for Aerostructures were:

Safety Management System (SMS) Definition

A finales del 2025, la empresa lleva a cabo la definición del sistema Safety Management System (SMS), desplegando con ello su formación a todos los niveles de la compañía y la documentación asociada para la parte IS, que tiene relación directa con la ISO 27001.

At the end of 2025, the Company defined the Safety Management System (SMS), deploying the associated training at all levels of the Company and the related documentation for the IS part, which is directly related to ISO 27001.

At Aciturri Aeroengines, the methodology of the procedure is being reviewed for adaptation to the Aeroengines business unit according to procedure PSC-1003, for the Ircio and Orón plants.

The most important milestones for Aeroengines in the period from 1 January to 30 September 2025 were:

  • 1

Adaptation of the Quality Management System to the needs of Aeroengines (Orón and Ircio).

  • 2

    Industrialization of additive manufacturing (Orón).

  • 3

Industrialization of the plasma, brazing and vacuum furnace heat treatment processes.

  • 4

Level 3, in-situ NDT manager, EN 4179 Level 3 in X-ray and EN 4179 Level 3 in penetrant testing on site.

  • 5

Implementation of a new platform for people management and training (Personio).

  • 6

Qualification of the entire team of Quality Engineers as internal auditors.

For their part, the Rochefort and Casablanca plants apply DG01-03 “Plan de continuité d'activité”.

Aciturri holds ISO 9001 and EN9100 certifications for all plants and businesses, in addition to being a Production Organization Approval (POA) organization under EASA Part 21G in most Aerostructures plants. As other specific certifications depending on the technology or business, the Company holds EN9110 in the Services area, EN9120 in Boecillo and PECAL 2110 / PECAL 2310 for Ayuelas, Tres Cantos and the Engineering business. In addition, ISO 17025 certification is maintained at the Tres Cantos plant, allowing certain calibrations to be carried out within the group. These accreditations refer to the management system. As regards the certification of the critical or special processes themselves, the required NADCAP certifications are held according to the technology and processes carried out in each factory. For aerostructures, there are NADCAP-certified processes in most plants (Boecillo, Tres Cantos, Ayuelas, Vitoria, Seville, Puerto Real, Tecnobahía and Brazil).

These certifications ensure strict compliance with current regulations and legislation, as well as the traceability of each and every product, by recording the materials used and the individuals involved in their manufacture and assembly, along with the certifications of the processes that support them. The usability and maintainability of these products are determined by a rigorous process that includes design reviews, first-article inspections, and official certification tests. These issues are of particular concern to customers, civil and military aviation authorities, subcontractors, service companies operating at the company's facilities, and employees, as outlined in the context and stakeholder matrix developed by the department itself. Proper management of all these aspects ensures timely responses, adaptation to customer needs and any legal changes that may occur, and monitoring of subcontractors.

The process for receiving customer complaints is carried out through Discrepancy Reports (DRs), which are analyzed by the Quality department of each of the plants involved, using international formats and tools according to EN9136. The analysis method is 8D, according to Aciturri’s own PSC-06 procedure and customer formats and procedures. All this is focused on identifying the root cause of the problems that generate rejections and determining possible actions, both to contain the problem and to correct and prevent it, so that it does not recur.

No complaints are received from end customers; all complaints and/or claims received from direct customers are reviewed directly with them and an action plan is established to prevent them.

The Quality First project continued in 2025 with the dynamic of reviewing quality results at each plant, where KPIs are collected month by month and action plans are established in cases where the expected results are not achieved.

These reviews are attended by Corporate Quality and Operations Management, as well as by representatives of the plant itself, in the meetings held.

Among the main milestones for this year is the QF project at Aciturri Aeroengines, which systematically records the evolution of the factory’s main KPIs in terms of quality, to guarantee correct manufacturing from the outset with high levels of customer satisfaction.

At operational level, the amount of ASRM in parts with WIP red status has also been reduced by 50%, through weekly monitoring at the Ircio factory.

Internal concessions at the Ircio and Orón sites have been stabilized compared with 2024, as has RFT, which remains unchanged at these two sites.

100% of the products placed on the market by Aciturri are controlled and evaluated regarding compliance with contractual requirements, the standards supporting the applicable certifications and current legal regulations, as well as in terms of safety.

There is no record of any case of non-compliance with regulations or voluntary codes relating to the health and safety impacts of products and services in 2025.

Chemical products are purchased from approved suppliers and have the corresponding labelling. During 2025, the previously established dynamic continued, whereby the REACH substances contained in each of the references manufactured or shipped are periodically communicated to the main customers. Due to the importance of identifying and packaging components while avoiding fraudulent or counterfeit materials in their manufacture, and ensuring delivery conditions, this point is included in industrialization procedure PSC-35 and training is prepared for the people involved in incoming inspections.

The Quality team continues to maintain an active relationship with stakeholders in the aeronautical environment, especially in the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC), where Aciturri is part of the governing body of the Aerospace Committee and the Board of Directors.

In addition, the Company has been present at World Quality Day and during visits by both the Aerospace Committee and the Defence industries.

The Aeroengines Quality team attended the Rolls-Royce Zero Defects event in 2025.

As usual, each year the Quality area prepares the data for the Official Catalogue of the Spanish Defence Industry, which publishes the main data of companies that have some type of business with Defence and whose objective is to raise awareness of and promote the capabilities of the Spanish Defence industry in foreign markets. In 2025, the registration includes the Aerostructures and Engineering companies. In the case of Aciturri Aeroengines, the DGAM company registration is maintained.
